moose mania

A common sign around Anchorage as moose are EVERYWHERE!

Outside my sister's house at midnight (notice the amount of daylight)! This is why the first 3 days I was in Anchorage I hardly slept - it felt like 9pm.

We were out this night watching a mother moose and her twins as they settled down to sleep on the neighbor's front lawn. The last photo was taken the next morning as the moose were eating breakfast. As the morning noise level increased, they took off down a green strip between the backyards.
