We were part of a European record-breaking crowd Wednesday night as the Brazilian women took on the two time World Cup champions - 44,875 people!! This was the largest crowd to ever attend a non-cup women's game! My colleague and I (decked out to support our teams) were civil after the game as it ended in a draw 1-1. Jessica was there to separate us if it turned ugly. Anne nearly borrowed my hat on the way out as a drunk fan (wearing both German and Brazilian colors) stopped me to give a congratulatory kiss on the cheek. I told her everyone thinks Brazilian women are easy and she should consider borrowing my flag as well! This guy hasn't met Dona Santa yet - she would have set him straight!
