Bab Boujloud (Blue Gate) into the Fes Medina. You really could get lost inside - the narrow streets branch off of one another and go in all directions. If you stay straight, then turn around and go back, you are OK. Luckily, Jennifer knew her way around a bit!

I took a cooking class at Cafe Clock and learned to make some great recipes. The best part was shopping for ingredients with my personal teacher in the Medina (not the guy pictured here). There were two others signed up but they cancelled so I was on my own in the main kitchen with everyone. It was a lot of fun. Murilo and I both agreed - Naveen's zaalouk is better! (click on the word and it will go to a recipe that is like Naveen's - mine used grilled, then peeled eggplant)
We saw a LOT of FC Barcelona jerseys everywhere we went. Most boys were sporting Messi but one or two had Xavi. Murilo spotted this tribute to a recently retired Brazilian scratched into a metal door in the Medina!! Some Moroccans have good taste at least!
