Murilo and I spent Christmas day and the following two days out at Murilo´s friend´s farm "Cajuru." It was so relaxing to be out in the middle of nowhere just eating, drinking, swimming, walking, talking, and playing cards.
The art of Brazilian BBQ - Murilo is an expert! We ate so much I was sure I gained 10 pounds! This was just part of the meal.
The two Caballeros - Murilo and Neto riding the range. Murilo's friends all call him Tiuspe and I finally got an explanation. Murilo and Neto made up their own language when they were younger to use out on the farm. They put "tius" (pronounced "choos") in front of everything and then used the first two letters of their names. So Murilo (whose first last name is Pinto) became Tiuspe (pronounced "Choospee")!

The famous pine trees - the nuts are really good to eat. During the yearly Pine Tree festival in June, people create new dishes using the nuts.
