My mom and I just arrived in Florence from Pisa. The Girl Scout training was great, the beach (of which I saw little) was amazing, and the leaning tower was more beautiful than I imagined. We almost decided to skip the tower and we are so glad we didn't.
Tomorrow we are signed up for a Tuscan cooking lesson/dinner, Tuesday is the Uffici Gallery and the Academia (with the statue of David), Wednesday is the city tour (red double decker tourist bus).
