Well, all the adrenaline came to a screeching halt this morning - our flight to Frankfurt was cancelled. Seems the labor union strike in Germany did have a bigger effect on flights than the Lufthansa website revealed! Oh well, they are paying for a couple more nights in the hotel and the delay allowed us to visit with Kristi, Miriam and Isaac one more time!! Miriam flew in this afternoon and we grabbed a bite to eat with the Fisher clan sans Steve.
Now, we are rescheduled to fly out on Tuesday and arrive in Frankfurt on Wedneday (then I start orientation on Thursday). They wanted to send us all over the place and finally arrive in Frankfurt on Tuesday but, after I reminded them about Zizou, they agreed that a straight flight would be the best. It will all work out :).
